When you have an idea to start a business, be it online or brick and mortar, you must understand what it takes to cultivate your idea. A business is never fly-by-night. It is a slow, long and even difficult process.

People often sign up for this opportunity and that opportunity looking for that Magic Bullet that will quickly make them rich. They typically start and stop about four major business ideas a year, actively pursuing this Magic Bullet. But the one thing they don't understand is this: there is no Magic Bullet outside of themselves.

It is not the business, it is the leader behind the business, service or product. They must be able to go in for the long haul. This is why most businesses fail. People generally are not willing to start from the bottom and use all the resources that they have to make their idea successful, even if they are provided with a step by step system. That system only works as well as the person who is utilizing that system.

I have referred many prospects and pointed many people in the right direction. However, I cannot make them successful. They must make themselves successful. There is a lot of grunt work in the beginnings of any business, no matter what a guru may say. No matter how much a system, software or process may cost, it is ultimately up to you to find out what you need to do with the resources and skills you have, to make it work for you. You must have resources, be it money, software or outsourcing. You cannot have a business without paying for something. There is a cost involved. It is impossible to have a home based business without purchasing something to sustain the business. 75% of business is marketing, the other 25% is the daily functioning of the business. So, if you are not willing to drop everything to market your business, then you have nothing. Either you spend time or money on a constant basis, or you spend resources to get it done, you must do something. If business was easy, everyone would be successful. Success comes at a price. You must be willing to pay that price. You must be willing to get past the grudging work, time and money spent to achieve that success. This will not happen with some so called Magic Bullet that you've purchased from an internet guru. They have put in the research, money and time to provide a service to you to help you get from one point to the next point in your business. But this is all they can honestly do for you.

So what do you do? You need to stop jumping from one system or product to the next and start looking within yourself to build the muscle, endurance and will power you need to succeed. Take a moment to find out what it requires for you to get where you need to be to satisfy your business needs. True resources are hard to come by. But with determination and knowledge, you can do it. Signing up for an online opportunity is the first step and continuing to get past the nightmare of starting is another. The Magic Bullet is You!
